Dr Fatima Saleh from the department of medical Laboratory Technology, Faculty of Health sciences, has participated in the International Translational and Regenerative Medicine Conference that was held on April 25-27, 2018 in Rome, Italy. Dr Fatima delivered an oral presentation entitled: ‘Treating Diet-Induced Obesity with Adipose-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells: Preclinical Evidence-Based Approach’ which was co-authored by Mrs. Leila Itani, Dr. Simona Calugi , Dr. Riccardo Dalle Grave and Dr. Marwan El Ghoch and she received a certificate of appreciation for her talk. Dr Fatima was also honoured to be given a Chair position for Session 2: Tissue Repair and Regeneration & Pharmacology (Cancer / Clinical) & Biomedical sciences. The conference was a very fruitful event & was a huge success, with gathering of experts from different countries from all over the world, who covered all novel research aspects of Translational, Regenerative Medicine and stem cell research.
