14/11/2008 : In the occasion of “World Diabetes Day”, The medical faculties organized round tables & lectures to teach the community more about diabetic patients (symptoms , causes, medical treatment) .

12/11/2008 : The Faculty of Architectural Engineering organized a sport day called: “Run BAU for Nature” in Debbieh campus. Academic and administrative staff, students , and many people interested in nature participated for this occasion.

7/11/2008 : Beirut Arab University celebrated the “48th Anniversary” of the University on 7/11/2008 in Jamal Abdel Nasser Hall.There were many speakers talked about the past stage and future plans.

4/11/2008 : The students activities organized an Open Day  in the campus of Beirut , many sports activities was scheduled , and the singer Darine Hadtshiti celebrated the occasion.

28/10/2008 : The Faculty of Arts – Media department – organized an interview with Mrs. Gizèle Khoury talked about the freedom of media in Lebanon country throughout the variety of political ideas.

16/10/2008 : In the occasion of “World Food Day”, the Public Relations Department and the Media Center organized an open day encouraging students to eat healthy food.

10/10/2008 : In the occasion of the “World Mental Health Day” the Faculty of Health Sciences organized  a lecture titled   “Stress Management” by Dr. Nisrine Izzat and in the presence of Dean Prof. Hend Mitwally and academic medical staff & students.

31/5/2008 : IEEE Communications Society Lebanon Chapter and IEEE Lebanon Section organised a workshop at BAU.The opening ceremony included two sessions on celluar and telecommunications.
