2nd Euro-Mediterranean Summer School 2009 (EMUNI Summer 2009)

EMUNI University is pleased to announce the 2nd Euro-Mediterranean Summer School 2009 whose main aim is to support cooperation among Euro-Mediterranean universities, to stimulate mobility and to contribute to the understanding among people and cultures.
Participants are kindly invited to attend EMUNI Summer 2009 to:
1-Study issues, relevant for the Euro-Mediterranean region,
2-Obtain the official certificate with ECTS credits or "comparative value of student workload",
3-Meet internationally renowned professors,
4-Gain international and intercultural experience,
5-Make new friends and enjoy summer.

Locations: at 9 co-founding institutions from 6 countries : Belgium, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lebanon and Slovenia

Summer School 2009 Courses:
EMUNI co-founding institutions offer postgraduate courses. All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance issued by EMUNI University.
Participants that will successfully complete their study obligations will receive the Transcript of Records with the course specification (ECTS, grade...) from responsible institution.

Teaching Methods and Assessment of Students Work:
Courses will be delivered on the basis of blended learning, a combination of on-line (on-line activities should start approximately one month before the course starting date) and face-to face-tuition.
Methods of assessment: active participation, written or/and oral exam, final assignment (it is usually sent one month after the conclusion of the course).

Professors: Each course will be delivered by 2 or 3 professors coming from EMUNI co-founding institutions.

Social Programme: Trips and other social events will be organised.

Roundtables: Two public roundtables will be organised during the face to face tuition on the selected topic.
