Congratulations to the Faculty of Architecture – Design & Built Environment at Beirut Arab University represented by INFRASTIC team for coming 1st Runner Up at 13th edition of Arab Startup Competition (Ideas Track) organized by MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) Pan Arab. The competition is part of a global network of chapters dedicated to the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation worldwide connecting and coaching early-stage technology entrepreneurs—enabling them to rapidly transform ideas into world-changing companies. The semifinalists came from 11 different countries around the world representing universitites, research institutions and autonomous enterpreneurs.
INFRASTIC is a new construction technology company specialized in concrete systems for both vertical and horizontal applications. It is the first construction-grade building material company made of more than 60% recycled materials (and often un-recyclable). They were granted $5000 as well as mentoring and pre incubation offer at Flat6Labs Beirut.
