Center of Applied Statistics is the first of its kind in Lebanon and the region in terms of services. The reason for its existence is the urgent need in all disciplines at the university and in the community to collect and analyze data to help make the right decision or provide tips to improve the performance required.
To provide quality services that promote and contribute to excellence in research by assisting and supporting faculty members, students, and the community at large to conduct high level and ethical research in a formal and appropriate manner that helps researchers in the study design, problem formulation, proper collection of data, selection of suitable analysis methods and techniques as well as reporting, communicating and disseminating the outcomes in an informative and scientific manner that, whenever possible, address the needs and sustainable development of the local community.
