Course Description

The course provides information concerning the problem-oriented approach to diagnosis and treatment planning for orthodontic patients. This course also introduces the graduate student to the basic concepts and principles of cephalometrics in diagnosis and treatment. The course places this important diagnostic and treatment evaluation tool into contemporary perspective. Students study classification of malocclusion including clinical features of different types of malocclusion and know how it develops and its etiology. Hands-on experience on Cephalometric analysis and CBCT interpretation is provided.
