Characterization and modeling of the wireless channel, Performance of digital communication schemes over wireless fading channels, spread spectrum techniques, diversity techniques, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). multiple-input multiple output (MIMO). Introduction to emerging topics in wireless communications. Pre-requisite: COME 485.
