Human-Sciences - Course - CONTRASTIVE LINGUISTICS

This course focuses on the relevance of Linguistics to translation through the examination of definiteness, regular and irregular plural morphemes, tense, aspect, modality, and the passive and causative in Arabic and English. It also studies Linguistics at the text level focusing on communicative factors, cultural aspects, synonymy, repetition, and redundancy.
