Course Description

Applied physiology of the eyelids and movements, applied physiology of the lacrimal apparatus and its relation to ocular surface disorders, applied physiology of the cornea, aqueous humor and intraocular pressure and its relation to different types of glaucoma, applied physiology of the pupil and accommodation and of the lens, physiology of the vitreous and ocular circulation, physiology of the retina, applied physiology optic nerve and central visual pathways and its relation to neuro-ophthalmology, somatosensory sensation of the eye, electrical phenomena of the eye, clinical applications of visual acuity and its relation to refractive surgery, adaptation and photochemistry of vision, clinical physiology of the extra ocular muscles and its relation to different types of strabismus, entopic and allied phenomena, clinical applications of visual field examination electromagnetic spectrum, applied and clinical physiology of colour vision and binocular vision and its relation to treatment of amblyopia and neurosensory adaptation.
