Science - Course - Issues in Substance Abuse

Various substances including alcohol, sedative-hypnotics; cocaine; xanthines; cannabis; hallucinogens; and other substances causing health problems in our culture are identified and discussed. Emphasis on history, symptoms of use and abuse, and the role of the health educator in prevention and referral.
