Beirut Arab University Healthcare Center Advanced Primary Care Innovation (BAUHC APCI)

The ICARE Clinic and APCI center at Beirut Arab University Healthcare Center BAUHCs, funded through the ICARE Erasmus+ project, have been fully operational since their official launch in April 2023.

Vision

Aspires to be a renowned university healthcare center, known for its innovative patient care, cutting-edge education, and pioneering research in key fields.

Aim

APCI center aims to be a central point for various training activities, involving both academic and practical aspects. This includes educating medical students, residents, and professionals from other healthcare settings, as well as providing fellowship training. Ultimately, the APCI aspires to be a leader in knowledge translation, driving innovations and transformations in primary care delivery.

The mission, vision and aim are approved by the faculty council of the faculty of medicine at BAU.

BAUHC APCI Center: Physical Space

Functions:

  • Administrative
  • Consultation
  • Education, research and training activities for wide target groups (research, education, IT, medical engineering)

Activities:

  • providing the e-promotion service for PHC
  • supporting the universities training courses update
  • providing the research and training system in the area of PHC in cooperation between university staff, medical engineering, IT staff and healthcare professionals

the APCI BAUHC is licensed from the Ministry of Public Health
