Beirut Arab University, represented by its President, Professor Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, signed a three-year cooperation agreement with Karagheusian Health Care Center, represented by its General Manager Mr. Serop Ohanian. The agreement aims to benefit from the center’s services to train students, specialty students and interns from the Faculty of Medicine at BAU.
The agreement stipulates that the parties shall organize sustainable training workshops and training courses for students or medical conferences and seminars as well as joint research and studies in various fields of medical, health and biomedical sciences.
During the academic year 2023-2024, students from the fields of pediatrics, gynecology and internal medicine were involved in trainings while the Health Care Center also participated in the teaching process.
The agreement also stated that the university shall organize a number of seminars for doctors involved in the teaching process to develop their academic performance according to the needs and availability in cooperation with Karagheusian Health Care Center.
