Beirut Arab University, represented by its President, Prof. Wael Nabil Abdel Salam signed an extension of the cooperation agreement with the Directorate of Internal Security Forces, represented by its General Director, Major General Imad Osman, in the presence of the Secretary-General Dr. Omar Houri, Dean of Academic Affairs and International Relations, Professor Sobhi Abou Shahine, Commander of the Security of Embassies & Public Administration, General Moussa Karnib, Head of Central Administration Unit, Brigadier General Salim Abdou, Head of the Division of Administration, Brigadier General Issam Takkoush, Chief of the Training Division, Brigadier General Troudi El Kadi, Retired Brigadier General Houssein Khashfeh, Chief of Planning and Management Division, Lieutenant Colonel Fares Abou Assly, and Head of the Staff Issues Department at the Public Relations Division, Lieutenant Colonel André Al Khoury. The agreement aims to reflect the management of academic cooperation and exchange of experiences and information between the two parties.
As part of Lebanon's National Education Mission, the University aims to provide, through this Agreement, the opportunity, scientific and financial support to members of the internal security forces and their families wishing to obtain university education in some of its accredited disciplines. The University also offers specialized courses according to the needs and possibilities available to it.
