Beirut Arab University, represented by its President, Professor Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, signed a cooperation agreement with the Command of the Lebanese Army, represented by Army Commander General Joseph Aoun, in the Lebanese Army headquarters in the presence of BAU Secretary-General, Dr. Omar Houri, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, Professor Mohammad Kassem, Dean of Academic Affairs and International Relations, Professor Sobhi Abou Chahine and other officers.
The agreement includes special facilities for active-duty military personnel, retirees and families of martyred military personnel. General Aoun expressed his appreciation to the University for this Initiative.
On the other hand, Professor Abdel Salam emphasized that the university highly values the army's efforts in maintaining security and stability in Lebanon
