Dr Walid Malaeb at Keio University

Dr. Walid Malaeb from the Physics Department delivered two lectures for postgraduate students at Keio University in Japan in July 2019, invited by the famous Prof. Yoichi Kamihara, the discoverer of high-Tc superconductivity in Iron-pnictides in 2008. The lectures entitled “Introduction to BCS theory” and “Discussions for BCS theory and ARPES” were part of the graduate course “Superconductivity and Solid State Engineering”. In addition, Dr. Malaeb carried out several experiments as collaborative research with Keio University.
