Newly Signed Agreements
- Three-year agreement with Tripoli Governmental Hospital, was signed on December 24th, 2019, to utilize the hospital’s human and scientific potentials and capabilities, to train Medical Physics Masters students on how to use diagnostic imaging, radiation therapy and other devices at the hospital to benefit students in applied and research practices. In addition to organizing sustainable educational training courses, scientific seminars, and workshops, as well as conducting joint research and studies in the field of medical physics, approved by both the Faculty of Science and the hospital.
- Three-year Memorandum of Understanding on scientific academic cooperation with the Indian Institute of Science-Bangalore signed on July, 9th, 2019. This cooperation provides interchange of teaching staff and students for training in the fields of basic and advanced sciences, organizing international workshops and seminars in the field of materials science, development and implementation of joint technical projects, and collaboration in joint Masters and PhD degrees.
- Three-year cooperation agreements with VINCA Institute for Nuclear Sciences, University of Belgrade, Serbia, signed on November 28th, 2018 and with Alexandria Ayadi Al-Mostakbal Oncology Center, on March 27th, 2019, to exchange experience and consultations in the fields of Medical Physics. These agreements provide also the Faculty’ students enrolled in MS Medical Physics’ program with intensive clinical trainings in the different subfields of medical physics: Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radioprotection and Radiotherapy.
- Technical and academic cooperation with the Lebanese Atomic Energy Commission - CNRS/ National Council for Scientific Research- Lebanon signed on November, 23rd 2017. Within the framework of this cooperation, the Faculty has launched an MS Medical Physics program in collaboration with LEAC.
- Research collaboration with the “Ecole Doctorale des Sciences et de Technologie” (EDST) at the Lebanese University as a result of the agreement signed between BAU and the Lebanese University (2016-2017).
- Technical and academic cooperation with the Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute (LARI) signed in 2016.
