Associate Professor


Dr. Abdul Rahman Beydoun earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Florida International University in the USA, demonstrating his solid academic foundation and establishing his credibility. He is an associate professor at Beirut Arab University, and his international perspective has been enriched through his attendance at conferences in the USA, Europe, and the Middle East. He is the author and co-author of more than 20 articles in internationally refereed journals, as well as chapters in books published by Springer. His research interests cover several management areas, including Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, and NOGs Management. He teaches several courses at the undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. levels, and currently supervises Ph.D., DBA, and master's students. His international experience and research have been recognized with several important awards, including the Best Paper award at the Academy of Management Conference in 2019. In addition, Dr. Beydoun is a reviewer for several academic journals.

Teaching

Teaching Exprience

Dr. Beydoun is an associate professor at the Business Administration Department at Beirut Arab University (BAU) since September 2014. Dr. Beydoun taught at BAU the following courses: Seminar in Organizational Behavior,  Seminar in Organizational Theory, Seminar in Strategic Management (PhD.); Seminar in Human resources management;  Human Resources Management, Strategic Management (MBA); Advanced Human Resources Management (MSc); Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, Organizational Analysis and Design, International Business, and Human Resources Management (BBA).

Before joining BAU, Dr. Beydoun taught at Fad Bin Sultan University/ Saudi Arabia the following courses: Strategic Management, International Business, for Executive MBA; Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources Management, International Business, Strategic Marketing for MBA; Organizational Behaviour, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Marketing, Human Resources Management for undergraduate students.

 

Prior to moving to Saudi Arabia Dr. Beydoun taught at Florida International University/ USA the following courses for undergraduate students: International Business, Strategic Management, International Management, and Principles of Management.
