Mohamed Nizar Hmadi is an Assistant Professor in the Renewable Energy Program, Mechanical Engineering Department at Beirut Arab University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Renewable Energy from the Doctoral School of Science and Technology (EDST, Lebanese University) and the Higher School of Engineers of Beirut (ESIB, Saint Joseph University USJ). He is a mechanical engineer with more than 10 years of experience in HVAC, Public Health, and Firefighting design and consultancy services in the building construction sector. He has participated in international conferences and has publications in scientific journals. He got the title of Certified Energy Manager from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and the Leadership in Energy Efficiency Design from the U.S. Green Building Council USGBC.
