Assistant Professor, Dr Ahmad Tassi, Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Beirut Arab University. A professional lecturer, facilitator, student adviser, and education consultant with more than 15 years’ experience in developing and providing adult education and training for health care professionals. Skilled career professional with more than 15 years’ experience in health care delivery in Lebanon, United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.

Started career by working as a registered nurse at American University Medical Center (LB), then as an oncology nurse and informatics trainer at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre Riyadh (KSA). In 2005 graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University (UK) with an MSc Nursing degree. Worked as a staff nurse and preceptor at South Glasgow University Hospitals Division (NHS Greater Glasgow), Victoria infirmary (UK) and a as a lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University (UK). Late 2008, Dr Tassi started working at the Ministry of National Guard Health affairs, King Abdulaziz Medical City (RD, K.S.A.) as a Nurse educator and a part time lecturer at King Saud University for Health Sciences (RD, KSA). In 2016 graduated as a Doctor of Nursing practice (DNP) from Walden University (Minneapolis, USA). Joined the BAU in February 2017 as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, and as a director for the BAU Life Support, American Heart Association (AHA) International Training Center (ITC).
