I earned my B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics from Saint-Joseph University (USJ) in 2010 and obtained my M.Sc. Degree in Food Technology from the same university in 2015. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD degree in Biology at the Faculty of Science, Beirut Arab University (BAU). Before joining BAU, I worked as a clinical dietitian in my private clinic and as a food safety consultant at Boecker. I joined the Faculty of Health Sciences at BAU in 2015 as a Lecturer at the department of Nutrition and Dietetics. In 2017, I joined the clinical team at the “BAU Clinic for Nutritional and Weight Management” accredited by the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO), and implementated a treatment for patients with obesity through a lifestyle modification program based on the cognitive behavioral therapy for obesity (CBT-OB). 

Teaching

At BAU, I am teaching Human Nutrition and Metabolism, Food Service Management, Assessment of Nutritional Status, Principles of Food Safety, Therapeutic Nutrition II, Basic Nutrition, Drug and Nutrient Interactions and Therapeutic Nutrition Practicum.
