Assistant Professor

I am an Assistant professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences - Nursing department. I earned my  PhD in Education from the Faculty of Education at the Lebanese University in 2021. Moreover, I earned my Master in Critical Care Nursing from Beirut Arab University in Lebanon in 2013 and Bachelor Sciences in Nursing from Lebanese university, Faculty of Public Health in 2008. I had a 15 years experience in critical care nursing and Nursing administration in many hospitals. Moreover, I was Simulation Lab manager and clinical instructor at Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing Department, Beirut Arab University from 2008 till 2017. I am an expert in High Fidelity 3G Human Patient Simulation theoretical concepts, clinical applications, and training. I am A Basic Life Support instructor from the American Heart Association. Also, I have participated in designing and implementing IPE course at BAU. My research interests are in interprofessional education (IPE) and in nursing education.


At BAU, he taught Critical Care Nursing, Emergency care Nursing, Health Assessment Across the Life Span, First Aid, Introduction to Public Health, General Surgery, and General Medicine and Dermatology.

November 2015: Participating in “Primary Health Care Education workshops” as a lecturer for Health Assessment course delivered by the order of Nurses in coordination with the Ministry of Health in Lebanon.

September 2015: Participating in “Challenges in clinical practice for clinical instructors workshop” / as a lecturer in the part concerning the different techniques of clinical evaluation.

February 2015: Participating in the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) workshop at Clemenceau Medical Center as an instructor for delivering Manikin based Scenario.

November 2014 - November 2015: Providing BLS training for Health sciences students.

May 2013: Participating in the 46th Middle East Medical Assembly (MEMA) workshop at AUB as a clinical demonstrator for Basic Life Support skills.
