Dr Miriam Al Battal

Dr. Miriam Al Battal is a Surgical Pathology specialist, and is currently an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine. She received her Medical Degree from the Lebanese university in 2014 and then completed her residency training in Pathology at the Lebanese university in affiliation with the "Institut National de Pathologie".

In 2019, Dr. Al Battal obtained a Diploma of Specialist Medical Training in Pathology from Paris Descartes University (Paris V) . She worked at the Pathology department at Insistut Gustave Roussy-France , the first oncology center in Europe and fifth in the world. She also won the “Grand prix d’onco-senologie,Monaco” for the best case report in Breast cancer.

Dr. Al Battal is currently a member of the Lebanese Society of Pathology, the French society of Pathology and the Lebanese order of Physicians.

Her main research interests are female reproductive system cancers.
