The green energy for green companies (GRENECO) project has come to its end. On the 14th April the final conference was held at the Riviera hotel in the in the presence of the representative of the Minister of Agriculture, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Beirut Arab University, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Alexandria, representatives of the European Union, CBC MED representative, and representative of the Commission of project management in the Council of Ministers. Prof. Elkurdi; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, pointed out that "the project reached its aim to raise the use of green energy in the Mediterranean Sea region through spreading the culture of renewable energy to be a major source of energy for farmers, especially the Lebanese farms". Dr. Hadi Abou Chakra, project coordinator, presented the technical aspects of BAU’s role in the project.
