The Alumni and Career Center recently conducted a workshop entitled “You Are Not Alone,” which focuses on mental health. It aimed at helping students understand and cope with the stress of daily life. The workshop was held on November 1st, 2023, and was attended by over 45 students from different faculties at Beirut Campus. Mr. Malek Baydoun, Counselor at the Alumni and Career Center, led the workshop. The workshop also included group discussions, which allowed students to share their experiences and learn from one another. “It was great to see students come together to talk about mental health and coping skills,” Baydoun said.
The Alumni and Career Center plans to conduct more workshops focusing on mental health at the workplace as part of its ongoing efforts to support the well-being of students.
