Course Description
Computational design refers to specific methods and techniques employed in design and architecture, in which algorithms generate the creative outputs. Within this logic, parametric modelling is an approach to create geometric design models that are flexible and able to adapt their geometry depending on variable design input. The course also deals with programming methods and their direct implementation in fabrication exercises. And different digital fabrication techniques, including CNC milling and laser cutting, with special emphasis on robotic fabrication will be investigated.
