Course Description
Typography I is an introductory course to the basic terminology, anatomy and structure of type. Students start to develop an appreciation of and sensitivity to letter form. The course includes a survey of the historical development of Typographic forms and different classifications of type families. Students generated designs that illustrate typography as a meaningful element of visual communication.
