Course Description
The course aims to educate the students in the initial management of patients with facial trauma. Familiarize them with diagnosis and different techniques of managing facial trauma cases. Give a general idea about the different causes of facial pain and its possible treatment modalities. Also, familiarize them with the reconstruction modalities of the jaws. The course gives an idea about the anatomy of TMJ and the different disorders that can occur within the TMJ and the different ways for their management. Finally, the course introduces the students to the principles of corrections of dentofacial deformities and management of patients with orofacial clefts.
