Course Description
The aim of this course is to familiarize the students with the anatomy of the head and neck that is considered a prerequisite for the sound understanding of their pathologies. It deals with the detailed structure and development of the head and neck in a well-organized and professional manner that confer the basics of safe practice. It also provides the basic science necessary for clinical reasoning of the orofacial pain.
Students successfully completing the course will have gained an understanding of the anatomy and embryological origin of the head and neck structures demanded for their practice essentials.
