Dentistry - Course - Finishing & Retention

This course focuses of the finishing and detailing stage of orthodontic treatment. The candidate will be introduced to the goals of the finishing stage, common problems encountered during finishing, and the methods of finishing, detailing and settling of occlusion.
The second part of the course introduces the concept of stability, retention and relapse. Planning the retention phase of treatment is emphasized including appliance use and different retention protocols.
