Course Description

This course will cover the biomechanical considerations of dental implants. The student will study the prosthetic components of different implant systems as well as factors affecting the selection of abutment. It will also focus on different impression techniques, materials either conventional or digital. It is also designed to give the students a wide knowledge about the implant supported restorations cases and how to optimize esthetic as well as  conventional and digital laboratory procedures in dental implantology. After completion of the course candidates should be able to select patients to whom implants are indicated, select an appropriate implant supported and retained prosthesis for edentulous and partially edentulous patients.
