Course Description

The course aims to provide students with the specialist knowledge necessary for practicing different intraoral radiographic techniques and processing. Implement, perform and manage effective decontamination and infection control procedures according to guidelines in dental x-ray room. It also covers basic principles of radiation biology, safety and protection with analysis of unsatisfactory radiographs. In addition, interpreting intraoral and panoramic dental x-ray films with identifying normal anatomic landmarks of maxilla and mandible, periodontal diseases and caries.
