Course Description

The course provides details on properties and uses of different types of liners and base materials with emphasis on glass-ionomers and materials used for pulp protection. The course also highlights the biological aspect of restorative dentistry and endorses student’s abilities to solve problems relevant to root caries and non-carious lesions. Conservative cavity preparation for posterior composite resin is featured and practiced. Students will be able to practice successful bonding techniques, matricing, multi-chromatic layering for anterior restoration, finishing and polishing procedures.
