Course Description
The course provides in-depth knowledge on minimal invasive dentistry. Students will be able to identify different methods of early caries detection and select appropriate treatment model for carious lesions according to the degree of involvement. Students will be able to describe the composition, the physical, chemical and biological properties and principles of preparation designs for gold as well as indirect esthetic restoration. Students will be trained on different restorative techniques for direct bonding as bulk-fill and incremental layering for posterior composite resins restoration. Inlay/onlay preparation will also be practiced. By the end of this course, students will be ready to apply the knowledge and skills obtained in pre-clinical courses in their clinical practice.
