Course Description
The resident will be trained to diagnose and treat patients with difficult prosthodontic problems and learn to manage patients who require full mouth rehabilitation using fixed and removable prostheses as well as implant supported prostheses.
Implant prosthodontics including, case study, virtual planning on Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), construction of both radiographic and surgical stents. Placing implants till the prosthetic loading of the implant.
Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD CAM) technology including scanning, CAD, STL file export, milling of different materials for various uses and applications in prosthodontics.
Esthetics treatment covering smile analysis and design, veneers and all ceramic restorations should also be achieved by the candidate to attain experience and proper management of different prosthetic conditions.
Several temporomandibular joint disorders related to loss of vertical dimension will be thoroughly treated and covered throughout the program.
