Course Description
Digital signal processing scheme, sampling and quantization, digital signals properties and useful operations, digital systems properties and classifications, digital convolution. Discrete Fourier transform, fast Fourier transform, z-transform: properties, solution of difference equation and convolution using z-transform. Difference equations and digital filters, z-plane pole-zero plot stability, digital filter frequency response. Design of digital filters: FIR using Fourier transform design and window method, IIR using bilinear transformation design method.
