Course Description

The course provides a comprehensive review of the most recent evidenced based practical approaches in sports nutrition. The course focuses on acute and chronic metabolic adaptations to exercise, vitamin/protein supplementation, uses of ergogenic aids and antioxidants, and meal planning for optimal performance. Most recent techniques in optimizing sports performance through proper nutrition in training and competition will be emphasized. Effective methods to prevent dehydration and sports related injuries will be also discussed.
