Course Description
The course explores the history, importance, development and enforcement of local, national and international food laws and regulations that affect the production, importation/exportation of food and how they contribute to a safe, nutritious, and wholesome food supply. It also surveys the role of international agencies in the application of food laws (WHO, FAO, Codex, WTO).
