Health-Sciences - Course - Food Manufacturing

The course focuses on the principles of food manufacturing, highlighting core processing unit operations. Both traditional and novel approaches to processing food will be studied. A strong focus on the generic aspects of food process that impact consumer safety including hygienic equipment and process design, process operation and control, cleaning of the processing plant, the manufacturing environment, good manufacturing practices, products storage and distribution.
