Course Description
The course develops a critical understanding of: A consideration of the main variables affecting teaching and learning in the classroom, Growth characteristics of learners, classroom management, educational aims, goals, objectives, models of teaching, psychological variables of student achievement, in educational measurement and evaluation. The course also develops a critical understanding of: A consideration of the main variables affecting learning in the classroom with special focus upon the conditions essential to efficient learning Basic approaches to learning, the descriptions, the basic concepts of learning, the biological and psychological foundations of learning, classical learning theories (Pavlov, Skinner ,Gestalt , Bandura), cognitive discipline theory, transfer of learning ,and factors of learning.
