Course Description

Psychopharmacology [2Crds:2Lec]: This course aims to study the behavioural and neurobiological effects of psychoactive drugs. The course helps the students to understand the relationship between drugs, the body and behaviour, and allows them to better evaluate drug use and abuse (over-the-counter drugs, prescription drugs, and social drugs). It also enables the students to make better decisions, backed by critical thinking and understanding of the research, when they face personal or social issues related to the use of drugs in the future.
