Pharmacy - Course - Advanced Molecular Biology Techniques

The course covers the main areas of contemporary molecular biology, including DNA preparation, amplification of DNA using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) techniques e.g. multiplex PCR and inverse PCR, DNA sequencing, analysis of data using different approaches. Identification of bacteria and fungi using molecular methods (16 rRNA sequencing, DNA hybridization technique), different methods of transfer of genetic materials.
