Pharmacy - Course - Pharmacogenetics And Pharmacogenomics

This course is concerned with influence of genetics and polymorphism on drug pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic parameters. The course deals with the basis of gene therapy, and application of genomic technologies to new drug discovery. Genetically engineering drugs and their application in treatment of certain diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart problems and atherosclerosis will be also considered .
