Course Description

Introductory statistical methods for research including: descriptive statistics, probability distributions (binomial, normal, student’s t-distribution), parametric and non-parametric hypothesis tests, confidence intervals, chi-square tests/contingency table analysis, introduction to one-way and two-way ANOVA, and bivariate regression. Exercises provide the student with experience using statistical software packages for data analysis.
