Course Description
The course describes the design, synthesis, and applications of nanomaterials and bioconjugates. Chemical approaches for the assembly and functionalization of organic and inorganic nanoparticles, and polymeric materials. Nanoparticles characterization methods such as Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Miscroscopy (SEM), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Thermal Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Inductive Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectroscopy (ICP-MS) and hysteresis measurements.
