Science - Course - Green and Sustainable Processes

This course introduces students to the principles and applications of green and sustainable processes, emphasizing the use of green solvents and practices. Through case studies and examples, students explore how green chemistry is employed in pharmaceutical drug synthesis, energy conversion, catalysis, biodiesel synthesis, and waste valorization. Additionally, the students will learn green extraction techniques for obtaining valuable compounds from agricultural wastes and biomass. Pre-req.: GSM XXX.
