Course Description
The course aims to provide solutions of nonlinear equations in one variable: Bisection, Newton, Fixed point and Secant methods, interpolation and approximation: Lagrange Polynomial, divided differences, Hermite interpolating polynomial, numerical differentiation and integration (quadrature formulas), direct method for solving linear system, numerical methods for solving nonlinear systems of equations, numerical solutions of ODEs.
