Dr. Alaa Daher, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Beirut Arab University, was appointed at the IEEE EMBS, Worldwide Chapter Development Committee within the Electrical and Electronics Engineers assembly.
It is worth mentioning that the committee comprises five persons worldwide, including Dr. Alaa Daher from the Arab world and the Middle East.
The committee aims to develop new departments within biomedical engineering and to financially support departments involved in biomedical engineering to enhance and develop their work, as well as to encourage the support and organization of scientific workshops and seminars within IEEE EMBS worldwide.
