Mrs. Cherine Kassab hosted the ceremony and addressed her speech, saying, "Today we stand in a moment of which feelings of joy are mixed with pride, and feelings of enthusiasm with nostalgia. Here, the meanings of a tear match: a tear of joy and a tear of farewell. It is a moment in which you turn a beautiful page in your life, and open a new page full of challenges and opportunities.".

The graduates’ speech this year was marked by the fact that it was a speech of two students Fida Ayoubi from the Faculty of Engineering and Othman Ishrakia from the Faculty of Business Administration, in which it included: "We are a generation that did not know a quiet cradle, but rather a generation that was born by caesarean section in the heart of a homeland torn apart by waves and hurricanes, but at this university we learned that education is not just grades and marks, but rather a turning point. We are the generation of scientific competence, and this is the most valuable legacy that our university has instilled in us. Our voice is not just a cry, but rather a voice armed with reason, thought and science, and a sense of initiative and leadership. We are the leaders capable of providing what is best for Lebanon."

Then the University President, Professor Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, said, "Despite all the challenges, the wheel of achievements at our university has not stopped. On the contrary, these circumstances have made us more determined to move forward. In Tripoli specifically, this year the branch witnessed the start of the pharmacy program, an achievement we are proud of, and reflects the university’s keenness to meet the needs of the labor market and provide vital specializations for our children in the North. We also witnessed the reopening of the Computer Engineering program, believing in the importance of this discipline and its pivotal role in building the digital future," he said.

The celebration speaker was the CEO of the British "Morrisons" chain of stores, which includes a chain of international commercial centers, Mr. Rami Baitiéh, where he narrated in his speech the story of his personal life and the stages and difficulties he went through, but his insistence on ccontinuity and persistence made him a success story among the stories of global entrepreneurial successes recorded by a large number of Lebanese people in diaspora.

Baitiéh, continued by providing advice to the younger generation that focuses on the importance of sticking one's word, tolerance, listening, the ability of creativity, patience, and continuity in work. He also urged them to build strong relationships with others, and focus on achieving success by keep trying, even in facing failure."
