Celebrating the Graduation of the Twenty-First Batch of Specialist Doctors at Beirut Arab University

The Faculty of Medicine at Beirut Arab University celebrated the graduation of its twenty-first batch of specialist doctors, who successfully completed their clinical training across various medical specialties at several university hospitals.

The batch included twenty-nine doctors across 15 specialties: cardiovascular, hematology and oncology, internal medicine, urology, kidney diseases, heart and chest, obstetrics and gynecology, arterial surgery, maternal-fetal medicine, in addition to orthopedic surgery, gastrointestinal diseases, and ear, nose and throat surgery, radiological diagnosis, clinical laboratory sciences, anesthesia and resuscitation.

The ceremony started with a speech by the host, Dr. Amal Naous, who remarked, "Since its foundation, Beirut Arab University graduated classes of the most skilled doctors scattered throughout the world, distinguished by high morals, refined culture, and confident knowledge to serve humanity".

Next graduate representative, Dr.  Ahmad Dekleija, delivered the graduates’ speech saying, "Today we begin a new chapter in our journey, a chapter full of challenges and responsibilities, where we are asked to be not only competent doctors, but role models of humanity, compassion, and dedication".

In her address Dean of the Faculty, Professor Wafaa El-Sehly, told the graduates, "A page full of challenges and achievements has ended today, and you shall begin new steps in your professional career. You have witnessed the most difficult periods that beloved Lebanon has gone through, including health and economic crises and wars, and you have faced major challenges with steadfastness and determination, thus, you proved that you are worthy of carrying the trust of medicine and serving humanity. "

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to the graduates after performing the Hippocratic oath
