Beirut Arab University, represented by its President Professor Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, signed a cooperation agreement with the Lebanese Ministry of Information, represented by Minister Dr. Paul Morcos, aimed at enhancing practical training opportunities for students of the Department of Media in the Faculty of Human Sciences.
The agreement provides students with access to hands-on training across various departments of the Ministry, including radio, news agency, and television. It also includes the exchange of expertise between the university and the Ministry, as well as the organization of joint media activities.
The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Information headquarters, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences, Professor Sideeka Lasheen, Assistant Dean Dr. Helga Alaa El-Din, and Dr. Iman Alaiwan from the Department of Media. Ministry, attendees included Director of the National News Agency, Mr. Ziad Harfoush, Director of Radio Programs, Mrs. Rita Najem El-Roumy, along with several Ministry staff members.
This initiative reflects a commitment to supporting applied education and strengthening partnerships between academic institutions and official media bodies in Lebanon.
